BS (Harvard Business Studies) IT WILL BE CASE ANALYSIS
Students are required to analyze an HBS ( Harvard Business Studies) case study. Students must be address the topic in sufficient depth, and are expected to supplement their analysis with research that goes beyond what is presented in the case. Students are required to use proper APA-STYLE IN TEXT CITATIONS AND REFERENCING.
The case study analysis paper must contain the following sections:
a) Introduction ( very important) 15pt
Briefly summarize the key facts, scope and aspects of the case.
b) Body of the paper:
-What are the key communicational issues/problems that you may identify in the case? link the identifiable issues to specific theories or concepts related to organizational communication.
What alternatives do you propose for addressing and correcting the issue from a supervisory or managerial perspective? Why?Once again, try to support your arguments by linking your recommendations to specific theories or concepts.
-What are possible obstacles and difficulties for implementing these proposals? take into consideration leadership, organizational, and managerial issues.
Summarize your findings and recommendations
Note: The introduction should provide a brief but sufficient foundation for understanding the case, its key facts and pressing issues. Students should focus their efforts in the body of the paper by providing adequate analysis based on the facts of the case, as opposed to an elaborate description of such facts. Whenever issuing recommendations from a practitioners point of view is always important to achieve a balance between the functional perspective of an employee and the institutional Big picturepoint of view of the CEO. Take a balanced approach and look at both sides of an argument.
