The coursework for this module will take the form of a case study consisting of a critical review of an educational initiative involving the use of ICT in which you are either currently or have been involved. The coursework, which should be approximately 5000 words, will be an analysis and evaluation of this initiative involving the use of ICT examined with reference to the relevant literature. The aim is to allow you to integrate theoretical aspects of the module content with your own professional practice.

For this assignment you select An educational initiative involving the use of ICT in which you are either currently or have been involveda?. You dont need to have been the main person implementing the innovation but you should have participated in some way, however, small. An example might be a local or national decision to use, say, interactive whiteboards in schools; your role might have been as project leader, software supplier, a teacher or even a student using the new system. The initiative does not need to have been something as large in scale as the example above; it might be something that you as an individual implemented in your own work.
