Brief
A Caribbean based company is intending to establish a plant for the production of beach/surfing goods in the UK. It is expected that the workforce will be recruited locally and number about 100. The parent company is familiar with a prescriptive approach to health and safety legislation and is confused by the goal setting approach adopted in the UK
Prepare a report for the Managing Director which explains the difference between these two approaches along with practical implementation for the UK operation
