For example: What was good? What could be better? There are many interesting and informative journals pertaining to alternative schools. Some of the most useful and informative journals in the field of education are; Preventing School Failure, Christian Education Journal, Middle School Journal, The Prevention Researcher, Journal of School Counseling, Equity & Excellence In Education, Journal Of Correctional Education, Journal Of School Health, Education & Treatment Of Children, and Journal Of Educational Administration & Policy.

These journals and journal articles are relevant because they cover Alternative Schools and alternative school education from many different angles and perspectives. At-risk students from home life to healthcare are covered in these journals. The most important journals are I am interested in the administrations side of alternative schools and correcting problem behaviors while improving the studentas academics and overall chances of graduating from high school.

The least impressive journals are the ones that provide inadequate literature review which covers too little information or too much information and ones with ambiguous research questions or unclear descriptions of the topic of investigation. I also find useless any article comparing other countries or students from other countries with America and American students. I dont see how other countries research on their students have any significant to American students.

I plan to submit a manuscript to The Journal of Correctional Education. The writing guidelines for submitting an article to The Journal of Correctional Education are submissions format must be via email in a Microsoft Word document with a cover letter indicating that the article has not appeared in another publication. The title page should include: title of submission, Authoras name, address, phone number, E-mail address, and a brief forty-worlds or less biographical sketch. All figures and illustrations should be professionally drawn about twice the final size required, All photographs, maps, charts, diagrams should be referred to as a?figuresa? and numbered consecutively and should have informative titles.

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association and Websteras Dictionary are generally followed on questions of references, spelling, punctuation and format.
