Marketers are always looking for ways to reach new customers.

The Assignment
Choose a product that has been targeted for one market a say, teens or women -and develop a plan for marketing it to a new group of consumers.

Your plan should include the following:
1. Clear identification and detailed description of the target market e.g. demographic, socio-economic, psychographic, lifestyle description.
2. Description of the marketing mix elements (the 4 Pas a product, price, promotion, place/distribution) that you would use
3. Value added products or services you might offer

For example, men have traditionally been Home Depotas and Loweas target market for home improvement toolsa¦.but they are now marketing these and other products to women.

Your write up should cover #1, 2, 3 above and demonstrate an understanding and application of the concepts discussed in Chapters 12, 13 and 14.

Your write-up should be about 1-2 pages in length, be typed, single space with 1 inch margins on all sides, be spellchecked and written with proper grammar and punctuation.

Be sure to cite your sources using MLA format (in text and in a Works Cited section).

Assignment must be handed in via Safe Assign by clicking on the View/complete submission link and following the instructions. As your paper can only be submitted once, draft and save your document in Word. Submit only your final version.
