Istory of Modern Science, Galileo and Newton

This request is for a college essay comparing the contributions of Galileo and Newton to the development of modern science and the movement away from the geocentric model.

The essay should contain answer the following questions.

Why should Galileo and Newton be considered as the two most important contributors to the development of the concepts, methodology and procedures of modern science ?

What common patterns do you find in their lives and work ?

What major differences do you detect between the environment in which Galileo (1564-1642) lived and that of Newton (1642-1727) ?

Only two sources can be used:
Galileo in Rome: The Rise and Fall of a troublesome Genius by William R Shea and Mariano Artigas

Isaac Newton: The Last Sorcerer by Michael White

Ideas reflected in the essay should be backed with direct quotes/and or citation from either work.

This is of extreme urgency.
