Lectronic voting when Politics meets computer science

This essay will focus briefly on ICT projects and the political context (from the politicians perspective) (1 pages aprox)
In particular it will need to focus on electronic voting as an example and the positive and negative (questionable) reasons for it.
Compare and contrast theories here surrounding the political ambition to roll out DREs through case studies and state where applicable with regard to electronic voting has went well and why, and what exactly in a political context surround electronic voting to date has went wrong and how.
