Steger gives us three idealized approaches to globalization, globalization skeptics (those who do not see globalization as fundamentally changing the nature of the security of states/societies), hyperglobalist optimists (those who see globalization having significant but overall positive impacts on security and society) and hyperglobalist pessimists (those who see globalization having significant but over all negative impacts on security and society). Using two or more of the security issues addressed in class (global commons/old networks, terrorism, state internal order/security, internet/cyber) to support your answer, argue which of the three perspectives on globalization is the closest to right today and/or in the future and why?
