Format: Part 1) a 7 minute PowerPoint presentation + 3 minutes for Q & A after the presentation

Part 2) a written report (750 a 1000 words)

Objective

Your target date for the business to be fully operational is 2052. Using a?blue-skya? thinking you will imagine and develop your business ideas to address the situation that the environmental limitation(s) are causing. The assumption is that markets and global society are being shaped by one serious global environmental factor. Using concepts, methods and tools introduced and explored in the lectures and seminars, as well as multidisciplinary tools whenever applicable, you should explore and refine sustainability strategies in terms of innovation, value creation, competitive advantage, business feasibility under future market conditions and overall sustainability fully documenting the process throughout the project.

For the report, you will need to keep track of your process whilst constructing your project and structure the relevant information to tell the story of how and why you approached the scenario with the environmental limitation and business development strategy as you did. You should avoid any detailed description of that final strategy in the report but may find it necessary to briefly outline the outcome of your analysis and decision making.

how will the environmental limitation impact the industry, society and global markets? How will governments respond? How can the industry respond? How do the specifics of your home country interact with the limitations and impacts? Why did you prioritise the impacts as you have? Why do you consider your chosen approach to be the best one for your industry and country?
