TIPS:

To begin with firstly, talk about how genocide still affects people today in the sense that we lack equality and so forth due to race, ethnicity social class..
For example The purpose of this essay is to explore the main causes and analyse the genocide in Rwanda in which one million people were murdered in an attempt to eradicate all Tutsi from the world. The essay will give insight into the historical background of the people of Rwanda before the genocide and then illustrate factors which led to the genocide, such as race, discrimination and colonization. Adding on to this essay will highlight the use of power throughout the county which is regarded as a fundamental to why the genocide took place.DO NOT COPY THIS! THIS IS JUST AN IDEA TO SHOW WHAT IS EXPECTED!

Another example is To fully understand, why this slaughter occurred we must first look at the history of the Hutu and Tutsis. The first Colonial powers, which established themselves in Rwanda, were the Germans. After the Second World War, the board of the UN awarded the Belgians, the right to be the colonial masters in Rwanda. There were two ethnic groups, which were the Hutus who were the majority and the Tutsi who were the minority and another group called Twa, which was 1% of the whole population of Rwanda.( Rwanda statistic) The Tutsi had an advantage because they were well organised. They had a tribal King and had a hierarchy structure which included rulers of the community such as chiefs and elders. The Belgians and Germans found that it was easier to educate the Tutsi, who had a well established system. Also the Tutsi had their own Kingdom making them more equipped than their neighbours. The Belgians viewed the Tutsis as more like themselves; therefore, they took them under their control and educated them and brought them up to be the upper class of society. The two ethnic groups were similar in many ways. They spoke the same language, inhabit the same areas and follow the same traditions. The Germans, who only briefly ruled this country, brought racial profiling by favouring the Tutsi over the Hutus because the Tutsi had more European features”
AGAIN DO NOT COPY ANY OF THE TEXT HERE. IT IS JUST AN IDEA TO SHOW YOU WHAT IS EXPECTED!
