Critical Annotated Bibliography
An annotated bibliography sums up the content of a source, providing an overview of the arguments, methodology, and evidence used in the work. A critical annotated bibliography summarizes and evaluates a source, noting bias, objective, and use of evidence. In addition, a critical annotated bibliography may show how the source research may or may not be useful in a writers research and/or in a particular field of study.

In this assignment you will write a critical annotated bibliography of at least 12 references. You will list them in alphabetical order in APA format. In addition, each reference will be followed by a short analytical summary of 150-200 words.

At the end of the short summary, you will include a sentence or two that critically analyzes the source and that mentions distinctive features about the article and why it may or may not be useful for you in writing a literature review.

You will write a literature review on the impact of a particular aspect of technology on society. Begin scouring the library databases, using the techniques you practiced in Week 1, for at least 12 sources on your topic to use in your annotated bibliography. Find the database in our library most appropriate for your field of study; if you dont know which database that might be, chat with a librarian (an online chat is always available at the library website) and ask for help. Use that database to find at least 12 scholarly articles that will be useful to your research. Use correct APA citation format for each of your 12 entries, and be sure the entries are listed in alphabetical order. Here are resources to help you as you compile your 12 annotated sources:
