-Introduction: (300 word)
This should be an overview of what is to come. This should explain how the theory and biographical material come together to explain this aspect of entrepreneurship.
-Literature review: (700 word)
Here we are looking at attributes associated with entrepreneurship. We cannot observe the entrepreneurial phenomenon directly but we can observe the spin-offs. Typical topics here include; motivation, leadership, invention, innovation, and change. This section is pure theory, the practical section follows next.
-A review of relevant material related to the selected entrepreneur: (850 word)
This should be detailed and based entirely on material related to the conceptual material presented in literature review. For example, if your literature review was on a?Motivationa?, then you should assess the entrepreneur in the context of motivation. The selected entrepreneur must not be contacted directly; this work is based on secondary research. Entrepreneurs that are acceptable for this project fall into the famous bracket, i.e. ones that have significant amounts of public domain material published about them. Remember that the stronger the evidence, the stronger the case.
-Analysis:(850 word)
This section is important! It is a synthesis of the material on the selected entrepreneur and the review of the literature. You are trying to gain an insight into the entrepreneur from the theory.
-Conclusions: (300 word)
The conclusions are drawn directly from the analysis. No new material must appear here, conclusions must relate exclusively to the earlier discussion
-Writing style:
The writing style is important. You must show a good research trail. Consult many sources and give precise references. Finally, beware of passages that look like, or lead to, plagiarism. Appendices are not treated as part of your word count. Organise your bibliography alphabetically (if you use one).
