Ommunication, Conflcit, and Cooperation 2

Many of us participate in project/task-oriented activities at work, school and other kinds of organizations. Often conflict is a part of members accomplishing their individual and/or group goals. Working with concepts from the chapter on power (e.g., power currencies, low power, high power, interpersonal power), discuss one to two situations where you have attempted constructive power balancing (Hocker and Wilmot 131-143). Describe the contexts (e.g., group project, individual grade for a course, job promotion) and what elements helped to facilitate both/and or sharing of power.
