Omogenizing a Pluralistic Nation: Propaganda During World War I

The purpose of the Creel Committee on Public Information, created in 1917, was to persuade a diverse American public to support the U.S. entry into the Great War (First World War). The committee supported the creating of propaganda material using advertising techniques developed by the national market. Using the evidence in Chapter 5 of DAP, explain how the U.S. used propaganda to mobilize public opinion during the Great War.
