Ompare and contrast the two views from Thucydides about Greek

Thucydides presents us with two distinct, though not completely inharmonious views
of the Athenian national character, the first coming from the Corinthians speaking at
Sparta (pp. 17-20) and the second from Pericles addressing his countrymen (pp. 39-46).
Compare and contrast these two views. What points do they have in common? Given the
events of the fifth century in Greek world, does either view seem in
hindsight more truthful than the other? Explain.
