Omprehensive Lesson Plan & Learning Activity Compilation

Comprehensive Lesson Plan & Learning Activity Compilation

ELL Portfolio

For your final project, you will develop a portfolio that illustrates your ability to support ELLs through the application of various principles and methods. Your portfolio must include the following two parts:

Part 1 a Comprehensive Lesson Plan

Using the information and tools covered in this course, develop a comprehensive lesson plan that supports culturally and linguistically diverse students.
Identify the grade level for your lesson plan (e.g., 3rd grade).
Select a culture and language to support (e.g., Culture: Filipino; Language: Tagalog).
Write a learning outcome for your lesson plan (e.g., Apply basic math principles to determine the cost of groceries).
Write the lesson plan, incorporating the scaffolding approach. Use at least one of the activities from your journal entries as part of the lesson.
Select materials and resources for your lesson plan (e.g., books, props, etc.).
Describe how you will assess the learners.
Your lesson plan should have a clear and readable design, and should include headers for each section.

Part II a Learning Activity Compilation

Compile all five activities you identified in your journals throughout this course into a refined version of your learning activities and strategies. Each activity and strategy should include an explanation of its utility in supporting English language learners. Combine both Part I and Part II into a polished and well-designed piece, using a Word document.
