You respond to a local motel, to investigate the death of a female. The body is lying on top of the bed, with the bedspread and sheets in disarray. The nude body is that of a white female, appearing to be in her late teens to early twenties. Postmortem lividity is present on the dorsum of body, and is not fixed. Slight rigidity of the jaw is noted, and the body is cool to the touch. There is no obvious evidence of external trauma.
