Class discussion was: US History-1789 Constitution is ratified. 1789-French revolution. 1908-Federal Law prohibits the importation of Africans to the New World for the purpose of slavery. Discuss the 13th amendment which ends slavery forever. 14th amendment all males have the right to vote. After this law we changed into a different slavery called domesticate slavery trade. 15th amendment-no state could bridge your right to vote regardless of race, religion & colour, which is how the british spelled it. for womens rights-they were told if they backed the revolution war they would be able to vote & go to school. they were lied to…..and Immigration in the 19th Century.
