Pplying The Law: The Case of The Dead Shed

This assignment requires that you brief the case of Fischer v. State of Maryland and then use the law from that case and apply it to a new set of facts to argue the outcome in the hypothetical called The Case of the Dead Shed”. While you must brief the case to complete this assignment, you should not post your brief in this conference. Rather, you must use this conference to apply the law to the new set of facts. The case of Fischer v. State of Maryland and the hypothetical called The Case of the Dead Shedis attached to the top of this posting. For your assistance, I have also attached the relevant statutory provisions for first degree arson.

If the first letter of your last name falls in the range of A-R, you are the prosecutor, and you must prepare a posting that argues that Garland can be convicted of first degree arson. In addition, the posting must meet the following requirements:
