Part of doing business is recruiting and maintaining a great workforce, if employees dont work up to the standards they have to be let go. But at the same time a company will do what they can to maintain great workers through raises, bonuses, and other benefits. In essence the perfectly competitive market will benefit all who are involved. But when peoples pride and greed, this includes executives, workers, government officials, and the common person, gets in the way there will be suffering and loss.br /
In the case of France you have a government and some people who see that not everyone is making the same wage, thus things must be wrong with The system”. But at the end of the day it is the difference of wages that keeps people employed and in fact raises wages. br /
In my work we often look for leading indicators to show us where the direction of different economies are going. We can look at France as a leading indicator of the United States. If you continue to bully, tax, and deface companies (which are the employers of people) pretty soon they will choose to do business elsewhere. Thus you see tons of Frenchmen leaving because they cannot find work. Ultimately they have set a standard of too many perceived rights, which has lowered productivity.”
