Rgonomics, Work Methods, Satandards and Work Design

I have chosen a case study already and got approval. If it is possible to send it that would be best

1. Each student will conduct research on a published case study related to course topics covered in Work Methods, Standards and Work Design (AKA Ergonomics). These case studies shall complement other class assignments, including the research paper. The objective of the case study is to introduce the student to business and professional literature related to other organizational success stories or failures. A very good resource for a wide range of Case Studies can be found at the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Many such Case Studies are available online in a digital format. [For detailed information, please see: under-graduate-course-page.] The cost to download a personal copy of the selected Case Study is relatively inexpensive (generally under $10.00 per document). You may also locate case studies in management textbooks or from business, technology, and engineering professional organizations.

2. The case study will include three sections, as a minimum:

A. Section 1 a Summarize the Case Study so the Reader knows the basis of your analysis (without having to read the case study themselves).

B. Section 2 a Analyze the Key Elements of the Case Study.

C. Section 3 a If you were placed in the shoes of the decision maker(s) in the selected Case Study, Describe and Define the actions YOU would have taken to improve the outcome(s) of the case.

D. Reference(s) a Use Proper APA Format (6th Edition a Second Printing a October 2009)

E. Attachments & Appendices (as needed)

3. The Case Study report will be a professionally prepared document and should be of sufficient length and quality to allow you to present your analysis to upper management so it could be used as a decision paper for incorporating a similar process within your own organization. Senior-level quality and performance are expected.
