I had started writing a draft and put in there that both Huckleberry Finn and Linda Brent the two main characters in both stories had no use and could seek no comfort in religion and that Huckleberry is like any youth is today interested in the hear and now not really in to long stretch down the road to obtain things. Children seek instant gratification where as spiritual gifts are not readily attainable and thats why Huck didnt have to much use for religion citing the fishing hooks he wanted in the text. She said it was interesting however, their is a difference in religion and spirituality. So I leave the paper up to you and what might be arguable with that content in it and I thought they both were seeking freedom in different ways he liked the wide open spaces being unconfined of starchy proper clothing for an example and she confined herself in to get away form the master each sought freedom in their own way and in the end were free. If these are not arguable or cannot be put in the essay that is oh k as a grade is more important then the ideas because it is difficult to write this type of essay. Shes says it can be social, historical class, gender, political contexts shaped by the text. Nancy J. Emonds, The instructor is Professor Karen Mille, AMST/ENGL,
