11-20 marks: Explains the importance of the key concepts and principles of the Person Centred model drawing upon literature and with relevant examples to illustrate application to current society
21-30 marks: Evaluates the key concepts and principles of the Person Centred model drawing upon literature and with relevant examples to illustrate application to current society

3. Discuss the practice of Person Centred counselling including a critical appraisal of the effectiveness of the model

1-10 marks: Describes the practice of Person Centred counselling using relevant examples of theory applied to practice
11-20 marks: Explains Person Centred concepts and principles with relevant examples to indicate their importance in practice and includes arguments against the model of practice drawn from the literature
21-30 marks: Evaluates Person Centred concepts and principles with relevant examples of their application in practice with reference to literature

4. Demonstrate how the PC model will be personally applied to improve own practice using examples from within a group setting and in a client setting to demonstrate integration of theory and skills

1-5 marks: Describes personal application of PC model to improve own practice using relevant examples
6-10 marks: Explains personal use of PC model to improve own practice with relevant examples in a group and client setting
10-15 marks: Explains personal use of PC model with specific details of how this improves own practice and with clear examples in a group and client setting of the integration of theory and skills
16-20 marks: Evaluates personal application of PC model to improve practice with clear and relevant examples of integration of theory and skills in a group and client setting

5. Presents the work in a structured style; provides a word count (4000 +/10%); uses accurate and valid sources of information; produces a bibliography adhering to a standard format.
